Due to a mishap at the Crystal Towers, Fern ended up getting stuck in the First at a young age. They were adopted by a Viera and grew up in Fanow.They met Emma during her WOL adventures into the First, and along with the help of Avalon and Sarangarel, was able to travel with them back to the Source.They are a bit more withdrawn than Emma, but are still confident in their abilities. They spend their spare time taking care of animals at their Island Sanctuary.Emma has also been teaching them some aspects of Crafting, and although it's not as much a main focus to Fern, they have been enjoying being able to bond in that regard.

Emma grew up in the Source, and knew Sarangeral before she met Avalon during her WOL adventure into the First, and later on met Fern, helping them to make their way back to the Source.She is confident in her abilities as a healer, but also has been honing her skills as an Omnicrafter, and has taken to running the Company Workshop pretty much by herself. She enjoys creating things and seeing what else she can learn along the way.
